The beneficial effects of maca on sexual function and fertility can be explained simply by the high concentration of proteins and vital nutrients. Dry maca root contains about 10% protein – mainly amino acids. Amino acids are essential for many functions in our body including sexual functions and fertility. They are needed to structure neurotransmitters such as dopamine and nor-adrenaline. These substances play an important role in the stage of sexual arousal and in physical performance during sexual intercourse.
Histidine is also found in the maca root. This amino acid plays an important role in women’s sexual function. An additional sexual effect of histidine, as well as arginine, is to help with vasodilation and increase blood flow to the organs of both sexes. The puzzle of nutrients that have a beneficial effect on sex life, is complemented by zinc, which is also rich in maca.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Take one capsule with a glass of water/ juice to achieve swallowing. People with swallowing problems may open the capsule and mix the contents with water or juice.
