Alpha-lipoic acid is a vitamin-like chemical that serves primarily as an antioxidant.
Commonly used in people with diabetes (diabetic neuropathy). High doses of alpha-lipoic acid have been approved to help with nerve-related symptoms. It is also used in high levels of cholesterol or other fats in the blood and obesity. Alpha-lipoic acid appears to help prevent certain types of cell damage in the body and to restore levels of vitamins E and C.
There is evidence that alpha-lipoic acid supports improved neuronal function in cases of diabetes. Alpha-lipoic acid also helps break down carbohydrates and produce energy for the body. It works as an antioxidant and can be useful for the liver and brain.
The product contains a large amount (600 mg) of excellent quality alpha-lipoic acid which is combined with 1 billion from eleven different probiotics microorganisms, a combination that makes the product unique in terms of quality and effectiveness.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Take one capsule with a glass of water/ juice to achieve swallowing. People with swallowing problems may open the capsule and mix the contents with water or juice.
